I have great in-laws. I am blessed because I know that some people marry into crazy families and although my in-laws are a little crazy, it is a good crazy and I love them.
Howard (my father in-law):
*I sometimes wonder if Nate and you are the same person. He is so much like you! He said something the other day and the way that he had his head turned and the look on his face I swear he was you. It was funny.
*You are a great example to me of quiet dignity. One who doesn't really express his feelings much but when you do, it is powerful and the spirit is felt. I look up to you for that.
*You are a great gardener and I am jealous of your tulips. You decorate the house so cute. I enjoy coming over and seeing the little things around during all the different holidays. It makes it fun. Thanks for taking the time to do that.
*Sometimes when the family is having a conversation you just sit there and listen and then say something really funny. I have learned to not be surprised by anything you say anymore!
*You always remember us when you go some where and bring us back a souvenier and you gave me my Willieraye and that was one of the best gifts ever.
*You have always supported Nate and me and I am grateful for that. Thanks!
* I enjoy hearing about your school and think that you are amazing for putting your whole heart into what you do. You can tell that you love those kids and they are lucky to have you as a part of their school life.
Beth (My mother in-law):
*I should have known that you would be great because you are from the south! I love that you make southern food and are proud of where you came from. It is fun to talk about the south and helps me remember the people on my mission.
*You have always tried to make things more comfortable for me like fixing me my favorite food because that is what we had at my house. You made me Strawberry shortcake for my birthday and it helped make me less homesick.
*You are extremely thoughtfull and do nice things for us.
*You are a really good cook and make the best no bake cookies, oh and I really loved that corn beef and cabbage. Yum.
*You have a strong testimony and it is really important to you. (and not too churchy)
*It is fun to get together and play games and you make it fun, except for that stupid farm game.
Sarah (my oldest sister in-law):
*I think that you had a big part in the convincing of Nate to marry me. :) I appreciate all the lunches you guys had and all the talks and then the phone calls to me with an update.
*I will always remember our trip to temple square and how you helped settle a few of my feelings and helped me understand things a little better.
*You are very crafty and I am jealous of your talents.
*You are always dressed nice.
*You amaze me with your Dr.Mario skills. I am determined to beat all of you.
* You are always serving and doing church stuff and I admire you for that.
Erin (my other sister in-law):
* You are an amazing baker! Your cinnamon rolls are so good I get hungry just thinking about them.
* You are always calm and always think with your head.
* You are easy to talk to and have helped me alot just by listening to me.
* You have always seemed accepting and understanding
* I love that you get involved in shows like the Bachelor. It makes me not feel so bad for getting so tied up in them too.
* You have great hair
* You are a great Dr. Mario player too.
Dave (my really funny brother in-law):
* You are always willing to help with Zoee and I appreciate that SO much.
* You always make the family laugh.
* You have such a big heart and are very caring and generous.
* You are brave. You have the courage to do something that would be completely scary to me.
* You give GREAT massages!
*You are just fun to be around
Mike (The littlest brother in-law):
* You understand my frustration with stupid people (even though you only get 13 transactions a day)
* You are Zoee's favorite. She will always go to you when you are around.
* You are a good example to all of us.
* It is so exciting watching you prepare for your mission and I can't wait to watch it all happen for you.
* You babysit for us so we can go to dinner and spend time alone. Thank you so much for that!
I love you all so much. I feel so blessed to have such great in laws. I look forward to many more good, fun, exciting, crazy years with the Garrards!

Awwww! What a nice post! You're so sweet, and we are EXTREMELY lucky to have you in our family. You're the perfect match for Nate, and I'm so glad you haven't disowned us all for being so crazy! We love you too!
You're the best SIL! Thanks for all your patience and the sa-weet shout out to the fam! You rock!
Well...you have touched an already tender heart-spot this AM! I have always wondered about who my boys would marry. Nathan chose right! You love him, he loves you. That will get you through all. You have brought so much to our family and I'm SO glad you are in it. I love you.
All I have to say is I have met them all and I love them all and they are still all crazy. I have not yet met you but I have heard alot about you from your crazy OLDER (dig at how old Sarah is getting) sister inlaws. They both think that you are deffinatly the Ying to Nathan's Yang. I am from the past in the Garrad history book but I can tell you that even when Nathan was little him and his dad were alot alike. You have deffinatly made it into a family of Extraordinary people which must also mean that you are extraordinary!! Congrats
