So I thought I should give a few updates.
We got Zoee back on Monday. I drove to St. George on Monday night and met my dad and Zoee. We slept over and then I came back to Vegas on Tuesday. It was really good to see Zoee. I didn't realize how much I missed her. She looked so big and seemed to have changed so much. I know Nate was glad to see her too. I did however, realize that night how much more work it is to have a kid around. I was just getting used to sleeping in and not having a messy house! It is much more work but not nearly as much fun. She is so cute and makes life's challenges a little more bearable.
Nate took the test on Tuesday and he says that it went ok. He felt pretty good about it. We still have to wait to find anything out and there are still more things involved in the background check. He did find out that the academy will be starting in September so we now know a little bit more of when everything will happen if it happens. That seems forever long away but I am sure time will fly.
We had a good day on Sunday. We got to take the sacrament again and it was a really good experience. It means so much more now and I think we both understand what it means a little bit more. We also got our temple recommends. It seemed weird to have them back. I mean, it felt wonderful but I kinda just felt like it was all a big blur. We went and got them signed by the stake president on Wednesday so we are offical. We can go to the temple anytime we want now. We plan to go next week. It seems weird to think that we go back and no one knows anything about our past and we are "normal" members now. So strange but very exciting.
I hade my first day in nursery. It wasn't bad at all. I think because it was Easter weekend and about half the kids were gone. We only had 10 kids when we normally would have 20 or so. They told me that by the end of the year we will have 31 kids! I think I might go crazy. Seriously.
Speaking of callings, I am happy to report that payback is great and my dear husband was given a calling on Wednesday night. It was given to him by the stake presidency so he's rolling with the high ups now. I will let him share what it is next time he posts.
Life is ok right now. We are happy and things are coming along. I have had my ups and downs lately and have had to take a step back and look at my life. I realize that Nate and I have made some huge changes in our lives and with that comes excitment but also comes many challenges. I feel the power of the Spirit in our lives but I also feel the adversary working on us as well. I know it is because of the steps we are taking to become an eternal family. Satan will try anything he can to stop good things from happening but I know with the help of the Spirit we will be ok.
We have scheduled our temple sealing for June 16th at 4:00 pm. I know it will be wonderful and look forward to it more and more each day.
Love you all.
