I freaking hate dogs.

Ok. I have a dilemma and I need your advice. Here it is.

I am pretty sure we live in a neighborhood of dogs. Big dogs, little dogs, YAPPY dogs, barking dogs and dogs that I kinda want to kill.

Here it is 11:38 PM (that's only 22 minutes away from freaking MIDNIGHT) and the damn dogs are STILL barking. I am pretty sure they never shut up. We did have a moment of silence this afternoon and we actually noticed it. It's that bad.

First of all, it really bugs me that people even allow their dogs to bark like this all night long. These stupid dogs bark early in the morning, all during the day and late into the night. It keeps me up sometimes and really drives me crazy because I think that is why Gus wakes up some of the time. Nate has to go to bed at 5 pm on the nights he works and I think it is disrespectful for those of us that work or have small kids. Now, I understand that dogs bark but their owners should do something about it. Keep them inside or something. It's rude to the rest of us.

And, it's not like it's one house that has dogs. The houses on both sides of us have them and the house right behind us has them...three to be exact. Three really loud, really annoying Lassie dogs and the house next to them have dogs too. They all feed off of each other. When one starts to bark, all of them start to bark. They really go crazy when the pit bull jumps up on the brick wall separating our yards and walks back and forth on the wall. That really makes them bark.

So here is where I am at. Do I send a letter to these people asking them to keep their dogs quiet. Do I call animal control? Do I contact the HOA and have them contact the people?

Help me. Help me before I go canine crazy and kill the little beasts.

Here is the deal:
The first five people to comment on this post will get something made by me. My choice. For you.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
2- What I make will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year.
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be photography, I may sew or stitch or bake something. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5- I reserve the right to do whatever I want!

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same deal to 5 of your own lucky blog readers. So, the first 5 people to leave a comment telling me they are in, win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it.

this is nate.
Okay, so sometimes the play that is happening on the different stages of life are different than others. Some are shorter and some are longer. Some are really pretty good ones you wouldn't change anything about and others, not so much. Some are fast, some aren't.
I'll keep this short since we're in a bit of a pickle for now. As time has gone by and we've waited and waited to hear from the dealership on what is going on with the financing with the van. Stac made multiple attempts to call them and ask what is going on. When we left there (having left my great X) we left with the understanding that they would be calling us when the financing was all set or to let us know that what we agreed on was just not going to work. EITHER WAY, THEY'D LET US KNOW. Like I said, Stac tried calling them a handful of times, left messages, etc. We never heard anything back from them. Long story short, we got a bunch of notices from all the places they tried getting us financing through saying it wasn't happening and a letter from the dealership saying that we needed to bring it back soon. Again, Stac called and talked the our finance guy's supervisor and I she told Stac "Oh, we've been needing to talk to you...." and at some point of the conversation told her that they have the financing worked out but that they need us to go in to "discuss the options." (After having already receiving the rejection letters I already knew that our "options" were all basically that they want more money from us.)
So here we are. A couple weeks past that life stage totally hooked on a car that we can't have. Well, we totally could have it, but it would be really unwise for us to do what we'd have to do to our checking account in order to have it.So we're probably gonna be van-less for the next little while until we find something that we like and that we can afford. We're probably taking it back friday. We'll keep things updated when we know what's going to happen.
(yay, I get my X back!)
