this is nate.
Okay, so sometimes the play that is happening on the different stages of life are different than others. Some are shorter and some are longer. Some are really pretty good ones you wouldn't change anything about and others, not so much. Some are fast, some aren't.
I'll keep this short since we're in a bit of a pickle for now. As time has gone by and we've waited and waited to hear from the dealership on what is going on with the financing with the van. Stac made multiple attempts to call them and ask what is going on. When we left there (having left my great X) we left with the understanding that they would be calling us when the financing was all set or to let us know that what we agreed on was just not going to work. EITHER WAY, THEY'D LET US KNOW. Like I said, Stac tried calling them a handful of times, left messages, etc. We never heard anything back from them. Long story short, we got a bunch of notices from all the places they tried getting us financing through saying it wasn't happening and a letter from the dealership saying that we needed to bring it back soon. Again, Stac called and talked the our finance guy's supervisor and I she told Stac "Oh, we've been needing to talk to you...." and at some point of the conversation told her that they have the financing worked out but that they need us to go in to "discuss the options." (After having already receiving the rejection letters I already knew that our "options" were all basically that they want more money from us.)
So here we are. A couple weeks past that life stage totally hooked on a car that we can't have. Well, we totally could have it, but it would be really unwise for us to do what we'd have to do to our checking account in order to have it.So we're probably gonna be van-less for the next little while until we find something that we like and that we can afford. We're probably taking it back friday. We'll keep things updated when we know what's going to happen.
(yay, I get my X back!)

OK, I didn't even KNOW you could take a car off the lot without financing solidly in place. That stinks, SO big, guys. I'm so sorry. What a big disappointment. Why in the world did they let you take something without being sure you could finance it?????? The credit union wouldn't do it for you?

I guess I could've saved you a lot of time tonight if I had jsut read this! It sounds like you were dealing with some crocked morons to me. Like I said, let me know if you want to go see Frank at Nissan. He will totally hook you up!

Sadly, I have heard of this happening to 2 of my friends here in Utah. I CANNOT believe this is acceptable behavior these days.. espcially in todays market! WHAT A JOKE! I am sorry to hear of all the crap you have been dealing with. Scott Nielsen in Hurricane goes to the auction weekly (in vegas) and sells the cars on his lot. I can get you information on his lot if you want. Jay and Kandi bought a couple vehicles from him and have been very satisfied.

Email me and let me know if you are interested.. Happy Wednesday!
