First of all, I need to apologize for Nate's last post. Those pictures are hideous!! I can't believe he put them on here. I was very mad at him. Of course he doesn't care because he looks just fine but I on the other hand, look awful!! I hate when I don't have makeup on because my cheeks are so red. I could beat his butt for doing that but since I love him I won't. (He might like it to much anyways) So I apologize.
I just wanted to tell about our date that we had on Saturday night. We planned on going to dinner with Kevin and Erin but due to Seth having a bad case of the sharts, they needed to stay home so Nate and I just went. Thanks so much to Jer and her girls for watching Zoee. I expect you to let me return the favor Jer!! We had a gift card to Olive Garden so we went there. There was about a 45 minute wait for a table so we took a little walk outside around some stores. We got to a little casino called Barelys. We decided to check it out. We went inside and went straight to the Keno machines. I love Keno and it's usually the only game I will play. We only allowed ourselves 1 dollar each. We figured we could play 5 cent Keno for awhile with a dollar. Well, I blew right threw my dollar in no time. Nate, put his dollar in and on the third try (15 cents) won 1000 nickels!! We were both so excited. He cashed out and we took our winnings and left. It totally made our night!!
We had a really good dinner and enjoyed actually being able to eat and talk to each other without a two year old climbing all over us. It was nice. After dinner, we went to Bass. I told Nate that he could use his winnings to buy the tent that he has been eyeing for so long. It was normally 170 but with his discount it was only 110 and then with his gambling winnings we only paid 60 bucks of our own money. What a deal!! We are excited to use our new tent for the family campout in a few weeks.
So it was a really great night. We got a free dinner, had some time alone and won 50 bucks! How can you beat that?

Stac that is so nice~free money=good! I will most definately let you return the favor. We did love having Zoee, the girls play together so well now that their age gap is closing in.

You know... I don't pay tithing on things I win... only things I earn. And it's not like playing keno is a whole ton of hard work, so... that's my input on it. Glad you had a fun night thought. And those pictures do not look bad, they were way cute!
Nope. Didn't pay tithing. From what I hear they don't want tithing from your gambling money. :) However, it did confirm my testimony that paying tithing does work. Just kidding.
for the record.....i was joking about the tithing thing......but i do pay tithing every time i win big at nickel slots...!!!
FYI: I just found out that the church doesn't want tithing on gambling earnings. I had big plans to send over a big old fat check to the bishop when we win the powerball... so sad.. I guess I'll have to keep my 100 Million.
When I was in Vegas... I only played this dumb game called "Piggy"... it was kinda like a slot machine, it was highly addictive... so good I don't live there!
I'm glad you got to hang with Nate... it's nice to do that every so often.
YAY for winning. I won $50 the other day on a scratch off lottery ticket!
Pretty Sweet!! THere has only been a few times when cody and I have hit the slots together..but he always wins money...I ALWAYS LOOSE!! What's up with that? What a fun date! I wish we lived closer.
