Nate: He is good. He is still working the two jobs. Luckily, he likes Bass. I still feel bad that he is working so much but he promises that he is ok. We went to the Balloonfest on Saturday (I will do a post about that soon) and we talked to a NLV cop. He pretty much said not to give up. He said the September academy was full which we figured since September is almost over and they haven't called. He said he thought there was another academy starting in December but he was not sure. He did tell us that Nate's BI transferred to another department and is not doing recruiting anymore so that is probably why we have not heard anything back from him. This officer is actually the one taking his place so hopefully he will remember Nate when he comes across his stuff. He said no news is good news so that is good for us. Nate is super stoked for the camping trip. He is excited to try the new tent, lay in his hammock and spend time with his family.
Stacy: I am doing good. I am wishing that tonight was last night and that Sarah, Erin and Daniel were here watching Bachelor, eating stinky feet pinwheels and talking. We had some SERIOUS good conversation last night! I had so much fun and it was 1:00 in the morning before I knew it! I love hanging out with them. The show was good and I think this is going to be a great season.
Zoee: She is funny. She makes me laugh everyday. We have been having some fun times lately. She is growing up and getting so smart. We practiced sitting on the potty tonight but she ended up peeing on the floor. We had just been in the bathroom and not even 5 minutes later she peed on the wood floor. She cried and cried. I am not sure if she felt embarrassed or thought I was mad or what but she just couldn't stop crying. Poor girl. I just don't think she is ready right now. We will try again later.
Gus: I went to the doctor today for a follow up ultra sound. She wanted to check his heart and my placenta. Everything is just as it should be. His heart is perfect and the placenta is right in place. I am so glad because I kept thinking of worst case which would have been a C Section and I did not want that. So all is good with him. He weighs a pound and a half and she said he is still a boy and still has a good looking strong nose. I loved seeing him again.

Nate, be prepared for the LVMPD recruting speech this weekend! I may bring the paperwork with me. The way things are going with Metro, you should be through pretty quick. I am just giving you fair warning. By the way, if you wanna go tour CCDC, let me know.
By good looking strong nose...do you mean that Gus has a big nose??? We had an utrasound last Thursday and I have to say that our poor son has a HUGE nose!! Your dad made fun of it! Oh yeah and he has no skin..he's a skeleton baby! Okay I know I'm being harsh to the poor boy..but i'm worried! Next visit we are having our Target ultra sound..we're gonna get one of those 3D untrasounds so I think I'll feel a little better after that. Happy to hear all you Gerrards are doing good! Love Ya
oh gosh, that sounds like the time she peed on the patio and started bawling! Glad to hear that you guys are doing well, and are all in one piece still. Miss you guys.
