So for the good news

Ok, sorry it has taken so long to post about Nates good news. I kept telling him he needed to blog and share it but he never did so I will, along with a few other updates.

So the good news is that he got another job. Some of you might be wondering how that is good news but it is. We both felt like I should quit my job. I think I wanted to quit because I am miserable when I am there and I think Nate just wanted me to quit because I am miserable to be around because I am miserable at work. Make sense? Well, we felt like it would be good if I quit but we were both concerned with the money issue. As you all know, life is expensive and it usually takes two incomes to make it and we were feeling the crunch and stress with the money issues. We had gone to Bass Pro Shops about a month ago just to look around. It is a really cool store and you can spend forever looking around at all the stuff they have. Well, I guess that night Nate filled out an application online and they called him for an interview. So to make a kinda long story short, he got the job and it was a way better offer than we both expected. He starts training next week to be a cashier and he will work part time during the day and then work at the restaurant at night. I do feel a little bad that he will be working 2 jobs and I won't have a job but I think it is more important that I am home with Zoee and the new baby. So if that means working 2 jobs for awhile until we find out more about the police then I guess that will work. I really see it as a blessing.

We are still waiting to hear from NLV. I am really starting to wonder now. I don't think they have thrown Nate out of the pool of people yet but I am kind of getting the feeling that he might not make it into the academy this time. Maybe one of the next few that they offer. I really wish we knew. We are still considering an application with Weber County. They are starting an academy in September and everyone is pretty confident that Nate could get into that one. That would be a quick move! We will keep you posted.

Zoee is good. She has been so funny lately. She is starting to say funny things and I love it. The other day she told me she was hungry and then said, "hamburger fries" I thought it was funny but also thought it's a sign you eat too much fast food when you 2 year old asks for a hamburger and fries. She got her 2 year shots this week. I couldn't go. Nate said she had a really rough time this time. The doctor said that he thought maybe one of her tubes was gone but there is still one in there. We go back to the ear doctor who put them in next week to see if they are still in there. I hope they aren't because it would be nice not to have to always put her ear plugs in. We went to a movie tonight. I have never taken her to a movie so I wasn't sure how she would be but she did great. We went with a girl I work with and her niece. It was a fun time. We saw Ratatouille. It was really cute.

I am feeling good. I have had some cramps lately and I think it is just everything stretching and adjusting. At the end of this week I will be 4 months pregnant. Time really flies. We are anxious to find out the sex of the baby. We have some names picked out for both and just need to know what it is. Tomorrow is my last day at work. I am really so excited! It has been hard to go this week knowing there was an end in site but I have made it.
