More babbling

I guess it has been a little while since I posted so I thought I would write a quick post before I go to bed.

We had a busy weekend. We went to St. George on Saturday for a temple sealing for one of my friends. It was nice. It was good to see some of my friends from Huntsville. We went early so Nate could go take the NPOST (national police officer selection test). It is required by the state of Utah. In order to even apply anywhere in Utah he has to take it and submit his scores with the application. We thought it would be good to do it while we were there for the temple so we wouldn't have to make two trips but once we got there we found out that they were closed that Saturday. It was still a good day and we got to eat at Tom's Deli and that will make any trip worth it.

We drove back to St. George again today so he could take it. Today was his last day before he starts his job at Bass Pro shops so we figured it would be good to go today. We went early again and I went to see the doctor. My best friends husband is an eye doctor and I wanted him to just give me a quick exam and see if the prescription I got almost a year ago was still good. It was and he hooked me up with some way sweet frames. I am excited. They will be shipped to me in a week. I also found some really cool sunglasses that I want. They are really hip and cool and I can get them in prescription. Nate took the test and he feels like he did good. He said it was easy so hopefully he was right and hopefully he passed. We can call tomorrow to find out if he passed but we have to wait a few weeks to get the results in the mail and then we will mail his app to Weber County. I am just having faith that the Lord will provide a way and a job where ever we need to be. I am not set on living in once place or another. I just want to be where he can have a job he likes and is successful.

So my last day at work was good. It was actually a little weird. I didn't think I would care about leaving that place but it was kinda sad. It seemed like every member that I have made friends with came in that day and when I told them it was my last day they were sad and that made me sad. One guy told me that I ruined his day by telling him that and that I was the only one he liked to be helped by. It made me feel a little bad but then I got an annoying, sweaty, needy, stinky, whiny member and I was OK about leaving.

I have loved staying at home so far but it has only been a few days and we have been so busy so it doesn't seem like I am not working. I am sleeping in tomorrow though.

I hung out with my in laws tonight. It was fun. Sarah and Tyler had us over for crepes and a slide show of Paris. It was fun to see all their pictures. I stopped by Erin's house on the way home and we had a good talk . I love my sister in laws.
