Zoee is 2 and... wow.

I got a call from Erin this afternoon chastising us for having been home for (not even, but almost) 24 whole hours and neither myself nor Stac did the world the favor and posted something new. When she'd called I hadn't even turned the computer on and all day today I'd actaully had a pretty busy day. We left Zoee up in Huntsville so when Stac left for work I kinda felt like I was single again. I had things I wanted to do (however meaningless) that I probably wouldn't do had this been the start of our normal days, so I started doing them. I won't bother listing what all I did but I was going till Erin called me. Anyway, I just have to say that it is really pretty nice to have a Zoee break (even though we both miss her already. I feel like I really miss her more this time more than I have in the past. I need my Zoee fix. I need to smell her or feel her tiny squeeze of a hug or hear her squeel when I try to chase her and kiss her or something.) I forget how productive you can be when you can jusy get in the car and go and do. You get so used to going through the same checklist routine. Diaper bag with a couple diapers. Milk or juice. Shoes- Crap, where's you put your other shoe Zoee?? Baby WITH neccessary baby blanket/hand towel or both. K, let's get you strapped in the car. Okay, lets go. BINK!!! Dangit, what happened to the bink you had just 2 minutes ago, Zoee?! (She put it on the edge of the counter when I gave her her milk.) Unlock the door, grab the bink, and finally hit the road. I forget what it's like and i seem to remember now that it was a pretty nice luxury to just go.

Anyway, here are some pictures from the weekend in glorious Huntsville. I love Huntsville by the way. There is so much and so little to do. I have nothing but good things to say about Huntsville, and if we had the money to have a home of our own and means of continuing support up there, I'd move to Huntsville next week. Every time I get to spend time up there I learn more about Stac and why she is the person she is. I feel like by being up there and being a part of Huntsville, I get to know my wife better simply by understanding her better. >>>>>> Man, that is cheesy, someone shoot me.

Oh yeah, almost forgot...

We're pregnant. And when I say 'we are,' I mean 'Stacy is.' Only several weeks in. Its about as plain as blue pee ink can be.
