Time flies

It was 5 years ago today that I left for my mission!! Wow, time really does fly. I can't believe that it has been so long. I left May 8th 2002 and came home October 15th 2003. I have thought a lot about my mission today and the things I learned and the people I met. I think about my mission everyday and cherish the memories from my time in Arkansas and Tennessee. I am so glad that I chose to serve a mission. I am thankful for the experiences I had and the people I met. I met some wonderful people (including my dear husband!) I will always look back on the mission and remember the good times.

So here are a few updates on my life since I haven't blogged for awhile.

I am working a new schedule at work. I think it will be nice because I get off in time to get home so Nate can go to work. It will help save some money and the hassle of trying to find a babysitter. I think I am still a little unhappy with work but hopefully this new schedule will help and I will be able to tough it out until Nate gets into the academy. (hopefully he will get in)

I had a really great weekend. I went with my mother in law, sister in laws, and a cousin to a baby shower on Saturday. We had a blast! We went to Target after and had such a good time. I love being with them and am so glad that I get along with them. They are so fun and we laughed a lot. We had some great conversation and I am glad that I feel comfortable around them. I love you girls.

Here is a picture from our outing.
I will let you guess what happened and who's knockers they are!

After church on Sunday we all got together to have a birthday party for all the May grandkids. There are four of them so one party was easier. It was for Mackenzie, Caylee, Seth and Zoee. It was a really fun night. We had dinner and cake and ice cream. I got some great pictures that I will post later.

Last night was really fun. It was Monday night and we all got together to watch the Bachelor. We have been doing this for the past 3 weeks and I look forward to it every time. This time was extra fun because Sarah and Erin's friend, Daniel came and David, Mike and Julina came too. They all brought treats and we just hung out and had a great time. They stayed here till about 1:30 just talking and hanging out. I got to know Daniel and we had a good conversation. He was really cool and a very nice. He answered all my questions and was way cool about it. Thanks Daniel! I look forward to it next week.

So things are a lot better. I had a few rocky weeks there for awhile but I am feeling much better. This last weekend was really good and is just what I needed. Thanks for all your love and support. I love you all.

GEE! I WISH I HAD BOOBS LIKE THAT! I wish I had boobs at all, the whole padded bra thing is getting pretty old, maybe I should get pregnant, just so I can have big boobs for a while...boobs aside, isn't it nice to look back on all the memories you have had over the past few years and realize that you really are blessed more than you think? Im glad that things are looking up for you, sometimes all you need is a good laugh and some good friends and family. We will have to have dinner night at my house more often, it was just what the dr. ordered. squeeze zoee for me, Love you lots.
