There are those times when time stands still and you can just enjoy the moment. I really like those times. I had one of those times last night. Zoee woke up at 4:00 am. I went to her bedroom and she had lost her binky. I put it back in her mouth and she laid back down. I walked out of her room and she started to cry again so I went back in. This time I picked her up and just held her. I don't know why but I was just really enjoying it. I didn't feel tired for some reason and was ok with staying up. I love the feeling of just holding her while she sleeps. I just kept kissing her and wanted to hold her forever. I finally put her back in her bed and she didn't wake up again. It really made me appreciate how blessed I am too have such a beautiful baby girl. I like those times.

Amen, sister. It's nice when you have those moments & you're not so focused & frustrated about being up at 4am. When people tell you to enjoy being woken up at night because they grow up too fast I think they're nuts...however I'm sure I'll have moments when I miss holding & cuddling my baby at 4am!
I love those times. I mostly love it because they are few and far between, but when they happen... it's complete peace. Time does fly.. it's like that "Love you Forever" book by Robert N. Munsch. If you haven't read it... get your tissues out!
