So when I woke up this morning I thought that today was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. You know when you just have that feeling when you wake up? That's how I felt. It has turned out much better than I thought it would.
The early morning phone call really helped relieve a lot of my worry and I went to the doctor and he had good news too. I am dilated to a two and He stripped my membranes, which hurt really bad, I might add. Our hope is that it will cut down on the actual labor time come Sunday.
I got really nervous once he did all that because it's really happening now. I am anxious.
Ready or not Labor, here I come!

i have checked your blog 5 billion times today waiting for news about nate. But news about you is great too! You better not go into labor before your shower!

I hear ya on the whole membrane stripping thing. I just about went off the end of the table when my Dr did it to me, but my second labor was only 7 hours compared to 26 the first time. Good luck! Before you know it you'll be looking into your new baby's face.
OUCH!! That sounds like it hurts! Yep here you go ready or not! LUCKY!! I'm so excited for you! Gus is going to be so handsome! Have a super fun time at our shower and a wonderful labor! Give him lots of hugs and kisses from cody and me! Can't wait to meet him!
