My week

So this has been one of those weeks that I am pretty glad it is over. Here are some highlights and maybe not so highlights from the week.

I am homesick. I just got off the phone with one of my very best friends and she was at her families house for dinner. I have grown up with her family and they are some of the funnest people I know. Hearing them all together made me wish I was there with them and really made me wish that I could be at home with my family. For some reason, I always feel a little homesick when the season starts changing and the weather starts to cool down. That may sound weird but I relate the fall and cold weather to comfy cozy times spent inside laughing with my family. I miss everyone getting home from school or work and sitting down to dinner that mom has fixed and just talking and laughing. It is just a warm good feeling. I think I always get a little homesick during this time of year and all the holidays.

I got to see my brother Kyle for a few hours yesterday. He came down for the BYU game against UNLV. (which I did not support in anyway...just so you know Tyler!) He stopped by the house before the game and hung out with us for awhile. Zoee loved seeing him and kept taking him to her room to show her all her toys. He was so good and followed her up the stairs a million times and played with all her toys. He fell asleep on the couch for a little while but it was still so good to see him and have someone from home visit.

I had a breakdown this week. It was mostly about being pregnant. I know you have all heard me complain and don't want to hear it but I just had a rough pregnancy week. I had a small breakdown when I realized that my pants were a little tight and I look pregnant. Ok, I know I am stupid and you ask why am I freaking out because I AM PREGNANT! That's what Nate said anyways. He looked at me like I was crazy and calmly said, "Stac, that is what happens to pregnant girls. It's expected." (thanks for being the voice of reason, honey.) I know it is dangit!! I think I am just comparing this pregnancy to my first one and it is so different physically. I never had to buy maternity clothes and I only gained 13 pounds. I have already bought some maternity shirts and am well on my way to 13 pounds. I am up 6 already.

We got to go to dinner last night with Beth and Howard. We went to Famous Dave's. It was mighty tasty and even though I wanted Lone Star, Famous is always good and the company was great. I know, Howard, I should have been more assertive. I got some of their baked beans and they were so delicious. I am still on this baked beans kick. (remember my craving for wanting a cold can of pork and beans?) I am nuts but it hit the spot and was so good. I sure do love my in-laws.

The Bachelor party was one of the best this week and I am SO looking forward to tomorrow night! I can't wait. Someone asked me if I loved it so much because of the show or the conversation and I said, "there's a show?" I was just kidding but I really love it the most because of the people that come and the conversation that is had. It is a blast!

Ok. I seriously didn't mean for this to be a downer post. I am in a fine mood, I really am. It's just been one of those weeks. I am going to go have a nice cold glass of nog and that will make it all better. Right guys!?

Just to leave you with a picture of my beautful home. (I hope it's ok that I borrowed this picture from Carly's blog. It is just so nice to see the leaves changing and how beautiful it is in the Valley.)

Oh I feel ya sista! This is my fist pregnancy and I'm already in maternity clothes. I've gained lets see...15 pounds already!! It's really hard! And since it's my first i'm driving cody crazy with ridiculous concerns! I'm always so paranoid that something is wrong. I'm sort of a freak that way. Your a doll!

I would talk crap about BYU, but since they beat the Rebels by 10, I'll let them have their week. Scoreboard.

I'm about to make you feel really good about yourself. Okay are you ready?? I gained 45 pounds my last pregnancy!!! I bet you feel a whole lot better now, don't cha!!! If I could ONLY gain 13 (or even 25) pounds I would thank my lucky stars. Unfortunately, I don't have any lucky stars! Just try to enjoy your pregnancy and not worry about the weight.
